Interactive Brokers enhances Configuration Tab in PortfolioAnalyst

Online trading major Interactive Brokers keeps expanding the capabilities of PortfolioAnalyst, a solution that consolidates, tracks and analyzes one’s complete financial performance.

The latest set of enhancements concern the Configuration Tab. It allows users of PortfolioAnalyst to create amount or percent target allocations for asset and sub-asset classes.

Also, Custom benchmark configuration has been moved from the Reports tab to the Configuration tab.

There is a new Allocation Goals report. Investors can view their current vs. target asset and sub-asset class allocations for seamless portfolio rebalancing.

Finally, external accounts no longer need to be added at the client level. Advisors and brokers can now add external accounts. Account types include brokerage, bank, credit cards, annuities, incentive plans, mortgages, student loans, and more. Login with your master user, navigate to PortfolioAnalyst > External Accounts to leverage our multi-custody solutions.

Speaking of recent updates to PortfolioAnalyst, let’s mention that Legacy report Allocation by Region has been replaced with Interactive Brokers’ new Allocation and Performance by Region report.

The allocation section now offers amount and percent change over time. Delta (Δ) represents change.

Also, advisors and brokers are now able to configure default and custom report delivery for all client accounts in bulk.
