Exclusive: Ian Tyler steps off Gain Capital UK board

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Gain Capital has continued to reshape its management and board levels following the company’s 2020 acquisition by StoneX. Ian Tyler, one of Gain Capital UK’s independent non-executive directors, has stepped off the board, and has joined the board of Australia/Singapore crypto exchange Dacxi, where he will serve as the company’s Chairman.

Ian Tyler is a retired Deloitte partner, where from 2011-2015 he headed the firm’s UK Financial Institutions Treasury Advisory, Banking & Capital Markets group. At Deloitte he built up and led a professional team of prudential risk, treasury and ALM subject matter experts, with the goal of serving the treasury functions of financial institutions based in the UK and overseas. The team built net revenues up to £5 million within three years of starting from scratch.

Prior to joining Deloitte Mr. Tyler was Group Treasurer at Tesco Bank (2008-2011), and Group Head of Capital at Royal Bank of Scotland (2000-2008). He also spent more than a decade at Barclays in various treasury roles.
